Sync Account data from Suomen Asiakastieto

Learn how to add and update account details using the Suomen Asiakastieto database.

Taimer is integrated seamlessly with Suomen Asiakastieto. This enables the import and update of customer details, and this means, you will always have access to up-to-date client information. This feature is available only in Finland.

Adding an account from the database

If you're looking to add an account from the Suomen Asiakastieto database:

  • Navigate to the Accounts module from the sidebar

  • Click on Add Account

  • Under Details, start typing the name of the account you wish to add

  • The account or customer name will be auto-populated in the dropdown. It may take a few seconds for the list to update

  • Select the account you wish to add

  • The selected account is automatically created & saved

  • The data is automatically added to the account details everywhere

NB! Taimer only imports the data that is available in the database. Accounts data may vary.

Business details 


You get addresses to Invoicing and visiting pages from Asiakastieto


Update Contact person, e-invoice operator, e-invoice address and invoicing E-mail manually.

How to update data for existing accounts

If you have an existing account and you wish to update details for, you can use the Suomen Asiakastieto database to import details. To do this:

  • Navigate to the Accounts module from the sidebar

  • Click on the Account you wish to update

  • Go to Account Details in the rightmost pane

  • Click on the blue Update button in the account field. Taimer will automatically sync with Suomen Asiakastieto and update the most up-to-date information for this account.

  • You will now notice the updated (if any), business details, invoicing and visiting addresses


  • Make sure the Business ID you entered is accurate for this account, this is the entity that enables the synchronization with Asiakastieto.

  • The updated/new address, found in the database will be added automatically. However, the existing invoicing and visiting addresses will not be automatically deleted. You need to delete them manually.
